Just for fun, no point in getting too hot under the collar about 22 blokes kicking a bag of wind about ;)

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.

if england score it will be an achievement.

The salary of the chief executive of a large corporation is not a market award for achievement. It is frequently in the nature of a warm personal gesture by the individual to himself.

If it is your 'national game', why is it nearly every team in the Premier League needs to be propped up by foreign players?

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.

Well said that man

The only thing about "our" that maybe true is the fact that it is played in England (the premiership)

Ooooh look , they're blaming the manager again..........these footballers are paid more than Tony Blair (and he supposedly runs the country)

What about this for an idea.................Instead of paying these wussies stupid money , put them all on a flat rate(all of em) and pay them £100,000 for every goal they score??

Do you think it will give them a kick up the ass and make them play a bit better?

Might make it tough to ever hire a goalie or to have players trying for an assist or playing really aggressive (and tiring) defense.
