Anyone tench fishing?

fish fine from any swim on the golf course side ,the water is deeper and unafected by the cold nights .maggots and pellets seem to be the bait at the moment ,fish a rod lenght out

I had 3 tench out yesterday, biggest being about 2lb that's all. Then had one out today just about same weight, all fished on bronze maggot.

I might as well be tench fishing, because that's all I'm catching at the moment on a gravel pit bream campaign. Still, they are good fish so I'm not complaining.

Thanks everyone, might try and get out after work one evening this week. Nice pic Stewart that has made me want to get out. Thanks for the tip chesters, I will get over there in the next week or so once Liam is back from his Dads.

hey, i went yesterday and had 4. I was only there for 2 hours and i missed about 6 bites wert thefish were taking the bread and missing the hook. I even had some swirling about 5 foot out in 2 foot in the water, they were taking the bread i chucked in when i rebaited. Got broke twice my some carp, i was getting the bites about 14 foot out fishing in a guley which runs round the corner of thepool and was fishing feeding some corn every so often aswell and it worked great.

I intend on going later in the afternoon today so ill let ya know how i do. And im going to baden hall tommorow so ill see how there going on a more comercial water which gets fished alot more, the pool i fished yesterday probably hadnt been fished much thsi year so it may explain why i had alot of bites.

They are now waking up proper and are very hungry.

Watched a bloke get five in a row last night 1930hrs on meat in the margins.

I had a few Sunday on 8mm expander pellet mid morning in bright sunlight and did they go well.
