bodymoor heath by the dog and doublet pub.

ken if there are any zander in that stretch they will end up being monsters as it is stuffed with roach and perch at the moment. not heard of any being caught for a good while now.

I'm in for some serious Z's I think, after a week of 12 hour nights and another week of 12 hour days. (Job's just finished today)

 

.......mind you, there is a Hoopoe at Calshot, :ph34r: .......... oh yes and the kitchen needs two new windows and the plinths fitted to finish it off, hardly touched the garden this spring yet, the van needs an oil change, the car needs a wash, the old cooker needs to go to the dump.........I'm sure there must be more.........yep, just remembered I'm halfway through making the tiles for a new splashback to go behind the hob, not touched them now for weeks.

 

 

 

If I go to bed could someone make it all go away, please? :headhurt:

bit of bailiffing down the pond ,try to clean shed enough to get in it ,out at 6.30 sunday for car booting ,bailiffing then a quick nap till dinner time then off bailffing followed by a nap till bedtime interspersed by popping in here and ebay.

damn the grass needs cutting i'l fit that in between a nap and a bit of weed killing down the pond if its dry.

Well i'm off fishing to Folkestone Chesters, i think it's my first trip out since december as all of the monthly one's had been cancelled due to wind and wind. Here's hopeing.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

good luck the winds been in the wrong direction for weeks ,trying to find something to flog to pay for our next trip ,queenie may have to go ,the bog will be empty :(

queenie is a 1956 engraving by jossett published by the Times of an annigoni painting of Q Elizabeth in her finest (number 56 out of 500) and has hung in several bogs since we got her ,ebay may not be the place though

this is the well known postcard version ours is the the full sized print signed by the engraver

Have a couple of days off from fishing :) mow the lawn, help Hazel in the garden, nice long walks with Barney. Bit of telly, bit of PC (quite a bit)

 

Might make some illuminated swingers to plug into my new alarms..

 

Just generally take life easy and rest up before another 5 days hard fishing...

Well its going to plan so far :thumbs: Had a great night last night. Went to the Rockcliffe Arms and had about 3 hours on the dartboard,even won some games!!!! Then went on to the Station Hotel and had a few beers with young Snatcher and his girlfriend.

 

Today I got my painting done and even touched up my "pub" sign which is attatched to the back of my house. When my old local,the High Point Hotel closed down I was there for the auction and guess what I went for :drunk:
