I fish because I enjoy it.

 

Fishing is popular because we have a multi-million year history as a species of being hunter/gatherers and to a large extent, the desire is instinctive in many of us.

Fishing has taken me to some lovely places ,meeting some smashing folk,I enjoy fishing and find it relaxing,even when sorting tangles out.It gives me and my other half something to do together,about the only activity where I can beat him,also now his eyesight is shot it means he can continue fishing even though I have to put maggots on and unhook fish for him.
