Anglers Mail RIP?

Peter Waller

Recommended Posts

I'm blowed if I am going to pay £2.90 for Anglers Mail, despite the complementary spool of line! What are they thinking of? Is it a death wish? From £1.90 to £2.90. that is one heck of a jump in price! AM, why?

Gosh, that's £150 per year.

That's the yearly sub (pensioner's rates) to a couple of good angling clubs

And makes the likes of Waterlog & Fallon's Angler really good value!

Good angling clubs down this way are a fraction of that, I get a long stretch of the Arrow for £25 , a lot of the Teme for £35, and what's left the BAA, including the Wye, Severn Teme, Warks Avon, Lugg, and many more on the tab for £35. and a big Barbel lower Severn venue for £35....Total £130, that's great value.

... and I save by not buying the AM.

:hammer: How can it be a "free spool" if it's a £1 surcharge"? Surely Trading Standards need to be involved. :hammer:

Trading standards wont give a crap ,i suggested they got involved with fake memory cards being sold on ebay by the dozen and they said it was a matter for ebay

You can always try haggling a price shown is not the price you could pay at the till it can be higher or lower dependant on the seller or buyer deciding the price to pay the term is invitation to treat it applies to everything on sale
