Tips for Wingham

Steve - Thanks for the correction. Just goes to show you never stop learning do you?

 

I suspect that the larger bream in many of the better known waters do feed at distance just to keep away from the bankside disturbance that busy waters can suffer from. I should have realised that, at Wingham, that just doesn't happen. I shall keep that in mind when plumbing my swim up on Saturday.

Apparently at Burham, the bream used to be caught close in, but anglers feeding at distance tempted them further and further out, now only anglers able to cast further than most can connect with the bream.

 

Well that's the theory!
