Hopefully it was a joke but if not, you should know that the radiation from a radar transmitter will kill you if you are in the way of the beam for more than a moment or two.

 

A radar reflector is a thing designed to give you a much larger and more distinct image on radar than otherwise. Something like this.

You will also find that the range is dependant on the height of the emitter above sea level. Design your own reflector with tin foil or aluminium.

 

As Newt says. Standing too close to a redar dome emiting (operating) is akin to standing in front of your microwave oven without a door on it, but a LITTLE bit worse.
