Barbel Fishing in east anlia

Recommended Posts

This sounds a lot like my situation in Oxfordshire. Yes, there are barbel dotted about in several rivers, but unless you're prepared for a proper campaign and an awful lot of blanking, I would look elsewhere, e.g. the upper Ouse, and take the travelling on the chin.

From what I hear, the Wensum is pretty much a closed shop where the barbel are concerned, and about the only realistic chance of catching one in East Anglia.

And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music
