Cracking tench Rob

 

The 8lb 4oz looks female to me, from what I can tell from the photo...

 

Great fish! I'd say it was a lumpy female, there's not enough lumps (gonads I think) above the pelvic fin for a male and the pelvic fins are too small!

 

That 9lb 14oz is HUGE well done!

It's a very different shape from the others though isn't it? It's head looks much larger in proportion to it's body and it hasn't got a pot belly like the others I wonder why that is?
