What??? We're ANGLERS, mate - we'll go fishing in rain, wind, snow and quite probably, radioactive fallout... :rolleyes:

I was fishing for pike last week in a small boat on Rudyard and it rained all day. It was freezing. Looked more like the south atlantic :-)

Do you take mirrors everywhere you go, you're not beck's are you? :-)

 

And I try not to blank. I love fishing in the rain if it's not windy, I find it peaceful.

The wife thinks I'm so wonderful when i come back from work soaking wet. Its a good job she doesn't check in my van to see only fishing tackle and no tools! :whistling:

It entirely depends on the species I'm targeting. Trout fishing, for instance, improves by a considerable margin while it's raining. If I'm pike fishing, I usually find things grind to a halt. My tolerance for a soaking tends to revolve around my success rate at the time.
