I thought I suffered this particular fool long enough. Firstly I said I did not wish to discuss anything and "please leave". That didn't work, so I suggested he was in need of psychiatric help, and

What annoyed me most was that I was being preached at whilst still groggy from an operative procedure (they inject a lot of radio-opaque dye which causes visual migraine, mild hallucinations, and obvi

I've been using seaguar ace hard flouro in 13lb for years now, mainly because the spool lasts ages! But I really like it, tough and abrasion resistant and relatively thin and supple. Though to be honest if I had to use something else I wouldn't worry too much...

When perch and zander fishing at the canals I've been using the cheap drennan fly tippet stuff in 6lb and that's been fine. I think that's what rich uses at Rutland but in 10lb.

I still have most of the lures I bought from FF last year, but thought I would pick up some more. My local shop had some coming in today but were let down by their supplier, so I went through to Sportfish at Reading. They have a box of 30 Savage Gear lures, five 20-28g jigheads and some stinger hooks for £30. Seems not a bad deal.

Steve, I just bought that box set of ebay...http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201330610691?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

I'm hopin' they arrive tomorrow so I can take them on Friday. I posted the link to them a few weeks back.

Guys you gotta face facts, last minute panic buying is not going to compensate for the fact that JV44 and I are angling gods, I've got the luck and JV44 has the fishfinder (and a battery that doesn't hold charge), Friday's result is beyond any doubt.

It's never a 'six', let's put it back

That's a good price! I was thinking for anyone local who needs them right now, though.
