TAT openess and transparency

Recommended Posts

Here is yet another example of the angling trust carrying on with their own agenda while ignoring, and failing to even communicate, engage with the rsa. This example is where the trust's Mitchell was once something to do with rsa, representation, now his title has been changed adding the word conservation to enable their benefactors to be placated.

When the 2012 steering group meetings, all six of them were attended by Mitchell, allegedly representing the rsa. He went on the premis that the org, TAT would not be supplying rsa information as at the time they did not trust defra and co to use the information open and transparent for the benefit of the rsa. In addition TAT stated that they would attend these meetings and come back and advise the rsa on what was discussed, agreed. Not one word was uttered, issued from Mitchell or the trust at that time. Nothing nada ziltch.

Yet here we are michell within the e u offering up rsa detail. This is without rsa mandate or consultation. There was also an attempt by TAT to communicate with the rsa through our resident rsa scientist Nick Staples and also with the largest rsa web site in the u k wsf. Both came to nothing what so ever and TAT carry on as is on their own secular selfish way, while offering up no rsa communication yet feel obliged to use the rsa information collected to suit their own ideals. Something stinks.

Within the second link, they have included an organisation where TAT pay the EAA sums of money from anglers subscriptions and u k tax payers money. Yet at NO time where rsa asked, communicated with, sort a mandate, to drag the rsa into the commons fishery policy mess. Openness and transparency, work that one out for yourselves, I'll call it abuse.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Nope, they really need to change their title, they are nothing to do with angling per say. it's all about conservation management of both the commercial and rsa sectors. Rsa betterments/improvements no chance, they don't care one jot.

:hammer: Not just what's it all about but what's the point? :hammer:

Just in case you're genuinely dim and not just acting the pub idiot...

I'd guess it's called international communication and networking, gathering intel. about methods used for illegally taking fish from freshwater and estuaries, cultural aspects to small-scale harvesting, how to better educate economic migrants from eastern Europe about UK laws and culture relating to inland fish stocks (so "me no understandy" stops being an excuse that means the EA/coppers don't act), showing law enforcement and governments that angling is willing to go about it professionally rather than just gobbing off on forums or Facebook. Doing what those who are Angling Trust members have paid for.

Could be wrong, but that's how I interpreted it. I don't really have an axe to grind on this though, especially not a tired, blunt old axe that more often than not misses the target.

Fine if you have a problem with the AT, but at least make it coherent and worthy of debate.

:hammer: As I said, what's the point? I understand what you're saying and understood what the point that was trying to be made. "Educating people doesn't work," the foreigners will still steal fish and say, " Me no understandy" because that's what they always say, even if they do understand, same as "me speak no English" because it's easier for the EA / police to drop it than employ interpreters out of their budget. If a British person is caught doing wrong and they plead ignorance of the law they are told, "ignorance of the law is no defence" and they get charged, if an immigrant pleads ignorance of the law, they get away with it, remember the Reading swan deaths and break in to the bird rescue to get the swans and the response of the police, "we have to remember we are dealing with different cultures here" and no prosecutions. A sad day for British justice and the impartiality of the police.
