How did you get on?

Looking to get out sometime this week, and just fancy a nice pleasure session fishing for silvers with maggot.

Very much a newbie when it comes to fishing the fens, fished it a handul of times last season for the first time, anyone reccomend any decent places?

Probably end up around Mulicourt aqueduct or on the cut off somewhere.

Cheers for any help.

Dan

A mate tried for zander at the level last weekend with just one small pike, two eels and a couple of dropped runs for his efforts. A couple of blokes had a few zeds out to 10lb+ a few swims down though. Don't know about bream/roach/etc!

And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music

If you're thinking of fishing the Glen or the Welland, you'll need to skim the top of the river with a lawnmower first, before tunnelling out a hole with an ice auger.

English as tuppence, changing yet changeless as canal water, nestling in green nowhere, armoured and effete, bold flag-bearer, lotus-fed Miss Havishambling, opsimath and eremite, feudal, still reactionary, Rawlinson End.
