Well done again with the fish Chalky and I'm pleased you took that in fun, exactly the way it was intended.

lol no problem sir if i was to argue over a 4lb fish that may have been a hybrid or a true fish i deserved to be shot, lol im still laughing at the womans weekly dig , he he thanks again m8. :clap2: see us scots do have a sense of humor [well apart from glasgow rangers fans ] BUT THATS ANOTHER STORY. tight lines all......chalky. now im after a good tench our record for tench is terrible ,not like the monsters down south. lol mabie have a trip down there any water tips lads??. :thumbs:

Congratulations - I have seen photos of big roach in this week's angling weeklies and the dorsal fin / pectoral fin alignment was identical. It's a weird fish, but it's difficult for anybody to deny that it's a roach - just an unusual one. It certainly deserves recognition - whatever it is.

English as tuppence, changing yet changeless as canal water, nestling in green nowhere, armoured and effete, bold flag-bearer, lotus-fed Miss Havishambling, opsimath and eremite, feudal, still reactionary, Rawlinson End.

Well it can't be me, 'cos I thought that it wasn't a true roach, something didn't look quite right.

 

But well done anyway. :)

 

 

My sentiments entirely, a splendid fish in its own right, as I said earlier.
