Silicone sealant....

Lo all,

 

I've got the drill all set up ready to go, heart is pumping as I'm about to tackle my first attempt at drilling into my yak, but what sort of silicone sealant do all you guys use, there seems to be some many varieties on the market but does it matter? I've been assuming as long as it's waterproof there all along the same lines, or do I need some sort of special marine version!

I normally use Dow Corning Marine Silicon or Sikaflex,both should be available at your local chandlers

Top tip when using Silkaflex..... wear old clothes, and disposable gloves! Sticky stuff on blankets comes to mind.
