Place to fish in the North West

Can anyone recommend a nice venue to fish in Manchester? preferably not a fishery like Bradshaws.

Can't think of any just in Manchester apart from Canals but there is lots and lots in the surrounding areas Macclesfield ,wilmslow etc etc.

I've heard Sale water park is good fishing, if you're really struggling why not call into a local tackle shop and ask them, they probably know a few. Hook and line in Higher Blakley is very good. As mentioned above most places you can find in Manchester are canals. I've been going to Rudyard in Leek and it only costs £4 a day.

Try Anglezark or Rivington reservoirs £3 per day from Crown Tacle Horwich. 20 miles from Manchester.

Rivington is closed to fishing now in manchester try Clifton marina sale water park the rivers canals or get out of the area Lymm Warrington all offer decent waters
