TFG Force 8 bivvy

Still got my TFG bivvy, still works OK and is quick and easy to erect if you lay it out properly (never done it in 20 seconds though!)

Once up, it's very strong and secure, relatively easy to pack up too.

Our chief weapon is surprise

I've got one in the two man version and I really like it. I used to have a Trakker big Z (pram hood style) which I didn't like at all. I think you can buy four TFG force 8 two mans for the price of the big z one man n'all. I have the force 8 bed also which is great.

I'd get the two man if you want a bit of space.

I've got a Trakker Big Z, which is a brolly-system bivvy. I love it and use it more than any other bivvy :)

Elton, get shut of it and get yourself a force 8 two man...no messing about with over wraps and all that none sense and much quicker to put up. :D

I do have a friend who loves his Trakker big z and he's had it for a few years now.... but he's a plonker

I think my Big Z must be a different Big Z to yours. It is a brolly, with a pole that you remove once it's up. It doesn't have overwraps and I often don't even bother to put the front on. It is up, literally, in seconds

I've got the 2 man version and very happy with it. Goes up quickly and as a bonus it did not cost a fortune. Not as flash looking as some other bivies, but it does the job.

i have just had a 2 man version of this bivvy and must agree with you what a nightmare this bivvy is takes ages taking it down bag to small alloy legs bend and snap very easily by far the worst bivvy on the market. Got rid of mine for a 2 man trakker slx much faster stronger allround bivvy would not recomend this to any 1 waste of time and money the tfg bivvy and most over tfg products !!!!!

I got one of these a couple of months ago and havent had any problems with it whatsoever. As smalltincup says, it seems it's a bit like marmite :P
