Excellent report Blaze!

Those Gurnards are great arn't they? I catch (and release) quite a lot of em. The ones I get make a croaking sound and puff out a bit when you pick em up~~strange! Nice one mate

That's a serious looking finder you have there by the look of it, by the way! ~~~~ Nice :D

nice one blaze

have you tried the wreck at the moment with bits of squid....plenty of triggers upto 3lb on there at the moment, and give hell of a fight on light tackle.

good fishing by the way

Catch and Release fishing is a lot like golf. You don't have to eat the ball to have a good time.

Tub gurnards - great stuff. Nice day to be out too.

Nice tip Lazy Hooker - yt to catch a trigger. been trying - can you get them on feathers or jigs at all? If so I will try for one on a fly!! After I have caught one on your squid tip. How big a hook and bait? Same as for bream?

very much the same as bream rigs we use size 6 or 8 hooks with finger nail size pieces of squid.

should be out after them tomorrow weather permiting just have to get in really close to the wreck for an hour or two over low water.
