I know the weather has been awful , but with the sun now showing has anybody made a trip to Coltsford Mill ? If yes , how's it fishing , whats catching , I hope to visit soon.

Not fished it for some little while,but it was fishing ok.Some reasonable blues coming out

Three of us went , 4 fish tickets each £105 one fish caught !!!!

Think quite a few places are fishing hard at present.Certainly my last two trips to Albury were not easy.

Augsut and stockies are a bad combination no matter how bad a summer it is its still to warm, try mid September on wards and fish daddies/hoppers if they are ignoring them on the top let them sink and use a minimal retrive

I'm rather loathed to go back to Coltsford (although it is very local) , they seem more interested in corporate funtions than angler these days.

Looks like it's back to good old Chalk Springs , never lets ya down !

I feel the option of being able to stalk a particular fish adds an extra dimention to the fishing there !
