Just Blitzed My Pond Plants

Recommended Posts

I've done nothing to my pond for years, but decided to thin out the plants yesterday. I knew I'd left it a bit longer than I should have, as I needed to use a saw to 'trim' them.

I've stirred up quite a bit of muck, but the pond looks a lot better overall. There's still plenty of green, but I can actually see some of the surface area now :)

I'm just wondering if this is going to stop the sudden drops in water level that I've experienced over the years.

Once the water's cleared (I'll keep cleaning the filters this week), I'll take a few photos.
