Decent Mullet

Each Year Matt Baldwin has set me a new target by beating my PB.

 

This year he raised the bar big time as many of you will know.

 

I got close. Last Saturday I got one of 9lb 1oz !!

 

I'm still grinning several days later.

A superb mullet.Very well done indeed.The next time you Medway boys pick up a monster,tell it how pleasent it is down on the Sussex tidals and send it down.It'll be most welcome!

I have seen some huge fish at Littlehampton, just off the slipway opposite the small fun fair. Have counted over 100 Swans there . . aways fun when you want to chuck a bit of mashed bread in!!

 

One fish, a couple of years ago, looked a double but had a series of fresh propeller wounds on it's back.
