hey dan

ive only really experimented with a couple of flavours

the ones that seem to stand out are spicy shrimp and prawn(had 5 fish on them in about 4 hours<1 rod>)

ive tried others such as

spicy chicken,tutty fruity and strawberry

but nun seem to do as well as the shrimp and prawn

 

im sure loads of people will have had great catches on the ones i dont rate very highly

but thats just fishing

Depends where your fishing or time of year, what works at one place, doesn't in another and vice verser, but some seem to be good all rounders, as some will work better in winter or summer.

Can also be problem's with certain baits on waters that have a lot of silver fish or crayfish, at the end of the day the bait that I have caught best all round with is 15mm Nash Scopex.

My best results have come to flavours Ive mixed myself! But that said "classic" flavours like Cream,Strawberry,Tutti Frutti,Monster Crab have had more than their share to!

Never had much luck with boilies, sweetcorn, maize and pellets have been the way for me. But if i had to put my money on on it would be spicy shrimp.

I don't usually get too excited about different flavours (bait being almost last on my 'priority' list) but this year I've been using those little 10mm squid and octopus boilies, and they're really good. I've caught carp, barbel, tench and almost chub (they wanted them but they were on a hair and so I wasn't hooking them!) on them. They're also dark, so blend in nicely with a mix of hemp and small pellets.

 

One of those topped off with a bit of fake corn has been my most successful tench baits this year (fishing 'carpy' waters where they see a lot of boilies). But that's probably not what you want to hear on a carp forum

Funny how it goes Budgie, I have never caught a thing on Strawberry/cream and monster crab only tutti, all though monster crab has had some excellent catch results, but never worked on any waters I fished.

The best boilie flavours for me is scopex and peach, my fishing pal only believes in one bait flavour pineapple.

I've tried a few different makes and flavours but the one I always fall back on are Nash 15mm Tangee Peach - just seem to work wherever and whenever I use them (which is pretty much all the time now!)
