I think I emptied the swim last night, it's going to take a while to bite again, bit shy now me thinks.

A very good session though one of our best I'd say.

Tell you what though I like Yoxer more than Kev the Chav. :):):)

Nothing wrong with the text-talk/short-talk in a situation where all who read it are comfortable with it.

That isn't the case here and it can be very confusing - which irritates many of us who hate to be confused.

I think older posters need to remember that the cell phone style text talk is a very natural and familar language to many younger folks.

Younger posters need to remember that for many of us, it is a foreign language and irritating to read on an English language forum.

I have to agree with what Peter originally posted on here - that English is understood by us all and is much better for this forum than any of the short talk.

And with my moderator hat firmly placed on my head, abuse and personal attacks in English or Short Talk is completely out of place.

I don't have a problem with it at all. When I see it I just move on without even trying to read it, so who's loosing out? :P

i will try from now on to stop using text talk as it seems many of you are frustrated by it and cannot understand it. i will see things from your point of view and type english as everyone in here can understand it. but in my defence i have used text typing since i got a mobile and was trying to keep the message short.

not a "****" in it :D

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Its far easier to curse the darkness than light one candle
