Roach fishing - Lechlade

The Flying Tench

Definitely worth an AN get-together there, possibly encompassing breakfast at the pub/cafe thing?

Nice idea :) I'd come along, it's only about half an hour from me. The big swirl got my interest (large perch perhaps?) as does trotting some breadflake for the larger roach. Then settling back with a hot drink after dark quivertipping for chub.

And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music

I'd be up for a spot of Thames roaching/perching! P.S. has anyone thought of Tadpole Bridge as a venue?

Guys, guys, guys,

You are getting all your trouts and tadpoles and bridges confused.

There is a Trout Inn on a bridge (NEAR Lechlade Rabbit!) ;)

Lechlade Trout Inn

A few miles downstream there is another Trout Inn near Faringdon, this is next to Tadpole bridge.

Other Trout Inn

The Riverside Inn in Lechlade is right next to a distinctly humped back bride (Halfpenny Bridge), I can't find a website for it but this place is in the same yard: Riverside

I'm too confused, there are too many Trout pubs and bridges over the Thames  Tell me where to go and when to be there, and I'll be happy to blank alongside you :D
