I don't think that is a bream. The dorsal seems to be a bit too long, the anal fin seems too short and the tail is too paddle-shaped.....I think

Definitely not a bream - they have a small pointed dorsal fin. As far as I'm aware the only UK fish (carp family) with a big dorsal fin like that and no barbels are crucians or goldfish. The crucians have a convex dorsal, the goldfish concave. But the colouring looks quite wrong for both. I don't know if it could be some kind of hybrid?

 

About what length was it? Was it caught in still water?

 

NB Have just seen the other 2 replies - we posted within minutes of each other!

some hybrid or other ,even our lonely single bream in the pond got fed up waiting so now were getting hybrids :D

it could also be deformed as well thats a hell of a back!!!

it's just a goldfish. Probably the uncoloured offspring of somebodies released pets.
