If you're being chased by a police dog, try not to go through a tunnel, then on to a little seesaw, then jump through a hoop of fire. They're trained for that.

Really sorry guys that I cannot give you more technical reasons for picking these lovely photographs,I have found it really hard as all the pictures were of such a high standard I feel I must give an honourable mention to Chris Goddard's picture "Well Stanley Another Fine Mess" and ajay's Puffball they lost out when I had to get a pin out to discard two...Chris's one has kept me smiling through all my deliberations....

I look forward to reading everyone's comments but please don't be too hard on the judge i did my best.

Well, that was a great way to get the ball on the monthly comps. Great stuff and congratulations to everyone. It would have been a hard job to whittle them down to 6 and while Judy's picks arnt exactly the same as what I would have gone with, they are a great set of 6 to pick from.

Aw Judy, I really was looking forward to this part of the whole process. There would be a lot gained by quite a few people on here if we could read what someone likes about a photograph and it would also help increase the quality of future entries by making people think a little longer about composition etc etc etc. But, if you dont want to, I guess thats OK. :) .

Cheers.......Mick.
