Barry L,

I run a 2.8 diesel Pajero. In the summer months I can add as much as 50% veg oil (SVO) to the diesel in the tank. Always oil first then diesel to get a better mix. But, come the colder months I have to reduce the amount of SVO or th engine throws a hissy fit. Right now I can use 10%, but if it gets any colder, I'll be on neat diesel.

Yes, perfectly legal, you can use up to 2,500 litres a year, all you have to do is keep records of how much and when.

I have an idea that adding SVO also cuts down emissions.

When you stop enjoying it, stop doing it.

Many thanks for the info, i have heard others talk about it. My concern would be if it causes problems with the injectors or whatever. I have a small diesel engine in mine and wondered how that would like it. Can't see no harm in trying a little and work up to a reasonable amount. Will i be able to show it as fuel used in the company? Cheers Lureloser.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Barry, or anyone else interested,

http://www.pocuk.com/forums/viewforum.php?...77e01b572e42ee0

Pajero owners SVO forum. Started before SVO was legal, and has a lot of valuable info.

As for your question about the injectors, pump etc. Frankly I haven't had a problem with anything. Also, my son-in-law runs his Land Cruiser on at least 50% SVO all year round. But, to qualify that statement, I do wonder if Toyota build their 2.4 diesel to run on all sorts of inferior fuels. If you visit Africa or the middle east, almost every other vehicle is a Toyota with the 2.4 engine, and some of the fuel is suspect to say the least.

One final point, a lot of guys use a fuel pre-heater which I understand costs about £70 or so. This is supposed to help in cold weather. But, with my engineering skills I'd probably bust something fitting it and end up paying more.

When you stop enjoying it, stop doing it.

Yes I read the posts on here - I posted it because this guy is trying to do something! He is not coming on a forum and bemoaning the fact that petrol prices have risen!

What he has done is approached the large petrol companies and ASKED for a discount! They have laughingly replied (in writing) that if he gets 1.5m people to sign up, they will.

He is desperately trying to make up that figure so that if they renege on the deal he can demand a public enquiry into price fixing and artificially high prices.

You asked if I read the posts here -yes. Did you read the story there?

Sheesh!! If AN was starting up now, it wouldn't get off the ground because of you sceptics!

It cost nothing to join up and is quite painless, and he MIGHT just get something done!!!

BP supply our local sainsburies and the same lorry also delivers to the BP station up the road ,followed it a couple of times ;)

in 600 yards the price goes up 3p a litre. same petrol :P

the big stores arnt putting small shops out of business small business is by selling for more cost what can be bought at tesco's for less.

a classic moan was heard today on telly ."everytime we do our weekly shop they (tesco) seem to be stocking more and more of what we sell"

the small businesses cant have it bothways ,they cant shop cheaply at tesco then moan their stock isnt shifting

small businesses need to supply stuff the large stores can't sell as the small amounts cannot be justified by head office to buy cheaply ,specialise

in a recent report no major signs of outpricing anyone was found ,large stores have been alleged to deliberately lower their prices to force rivals out of business then once theve gone raise them ,according to the report it rarely happens.

small shops have been ripping you off for centuries ,now you can hit back by putting them out of business and getting your shopping cheaper elsewhere ,its still expensive but at least you dont pay £1.60 for a crummy loaf of bread made with ghastly unbleached flour that you do at the village shop and having seen all the staff in sainsburies shopping they dont buy the crap either
