new works laptop/tablet

we ve been given these new state of the art tablet/ laptops (HP tc4400) at work.

the thing is its not saving anything when we boot them back up.

nothing is saving..... word documents even favorites.

 

One hint it has some sort of fingerprint scan thingy built in could this have somthing to do with the not saving anything as some sort of securty ?

probably your best bet is the excellent HP website ,yours is far newer than mine so its probably using mobile6?

if it uses activesync to connect to the pc make sure its not reloading the pc gubbins onto the handheld overwriting what you have inputted or if your inputting via the pc make sure that it is replacing the handhelds data if that makes sense

its not a handheld its the new type of laptop that you can use some sort of gadgety pen that wrights on the screen....very nice but just useless.

never use euro based websites for anything stuff we have to "buy" is usually free on the american sites

 

be very carefull if you download any patches ensure they are for the correct operating system ,it should refuse to work anyway but being carefull is good
