Tis that time of year again boys and girls.

What are your predictions for the chance of a blanket of snow on chrimble morn?

Sorry for the ye olde talk , i suppose i'm just getting into the christmas spirit , not surprising though with 3 kids (all under 10)

P.S. Note to mods.................any chance of any 'christmassy' smilies being added for the festive season??

Fishing is fishing , Life is life , but life wouldn't be very enjoyable without fishing................ Mr M 12:03 / 19-3-2009

Just had a look at a couple of look aheads for our area and 20:1 might not be that bad. :cold:

Low temps throughout the next two weeks, but what realy caught my eye was a spot of rain during the early hours of the 25th followed by sub-zero temps, now that rain could just be snow :cold:

Metcheck won me a little bet on a certain charter for last weekend. Two weeks before the blow using Metcheck's look ahead I took on a little bet that the cod trip would not leave the quay and they were spot on.

I know we give the forecast boys a hard time but if you look closely at their track record they might slip or gain a day but they are never to far out.

It would be fair comment to say last weekends weather was not as bad as it was forecasted but that was only because the storm drifted a little further south.

Still they won me drink from someone who was crowing about my misfortunes  actually it wasn,t a bad weekend at all as I won on the lottery Friday and Saturday :D a grand total of £18.10p
