Sorry to hear about your cat, Paul. Is there any further news?

Thanks Steve. No, there's been no sign of him. The neighbours haven't seen anything of him either.

Jan, I hope that you're feeling a little less sad. I'm sure Newt will be taking good care of you.

Steve, I'm still pretty gutted "bouncing" around an empty house. I keep seeing my little guy when I round corners and expect to trip over him if I'm not careful. Newt has taken exemplary care of me. He has the sleep deprivation to prove it.

When the Vet took my Pockies to insert the IV line, they also did a very wonderful thing. They put his paw imprint in a plaster heart and then engraved his name in it. We got it in the mail a few days ago and the gesture is so appreciated. He also took the time to send a card with a personal note from he and his staff. When we walked into the Vet's office, many of his techs were wiping away tears. They loved him so much. Here's a picture I took of the heart. It even has some of the grunge from his paw from going outside that morning.

So much nicer than the engraved plastic looking gold plaque we got with our Peppers remains!! That is really cute!!

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

Hi Jan,

I have left it a little while to say that my thoughts have been with you and Newt over the lose of your wonderful companion, i know how you feel having lost my Dizzy after seventeen years, just to say Pockets will always be with you in your thoughts as my Dizzy has always been with me since she departed, somehow you never forget a single thing about them and the memories are a joy to have.

My best wishes to you both.

Fishing seems to be my favorite form of loafing.

I know the joy of fishes in the river through my own joy, as I go walking along the same river.

What do you think if the float does not dip, try again I think.
