Ford Escort 55 1.8 Diesel Van For Sale

As posted preciously on non-fishing:

£995

W reg. Red (Ex Royal Mail). Just over 35k miles, so hardly run in.

This is a 1.8 Escort 55 diesel, non-turbo. Extremely economical.

MOT until May (never needed any work to get through any MOT in the years I've had it) and a couple of months tax.

It has a few dings, courtesy of Postman Pat, but nothing serious.

Only problem I ever had was a flat battery, so a new one was recently fitted.

Starts first time.

I had a towbar profesionally fitted. This was only used once, to tow an empty trailer!

Honestly, the only reason I'm selling it is because I'm stuck indoors when looking after the kids and need to get a 'normal' car. It is the perfect fishing wagon and has been so handy over the years, despite me hardly putting any miles on it!

I'm based near Ipswich. Please contact me via the forum if you're interested.

:clap2: My wife's going to test drive a Ford Focus Titanium in red tomorrow, do you think she'd notice if we swapped vehicles, yours is £11,000 cheaper.

It's got four wheels. She's a woman. She'll never notice the difference :D

SOLD!

"Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical

minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which

holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd

by the clean end"

Tigger,

These days, you can get non-commercial insurance for vans. That van was cheap as chips to insure.
