These days, you can get non-commercial insurance for vans. That van was cheap as chips to insure.

Not like a Ford Focus Titanium 2 litre.

I've been playing the insurance game this week, doing loads of online comparisons and phone calls. It's definitely worth ringing round, as the difference is incredible!

 

The most expensive quote I had was Tescos VALUE insurance!

We did shop around and the best deal, not the cheapest, was with Ford insurance, underwritten by Norwich Union. It gave us all we wanted, plus a bit more, so I was more than happy to pay the slightly bigger premium, cheapest isn't always best.

You are right of course, try Direct Line, they don't go through brokers or comparison companies.

get the cheapest quote from a multy checker website then go to the sellers website and see if theres a difference.

postcode is the biggest factor and your age but postcode definitely first
