I was out off Robin Hoods Bay on saturday set four hundred hooks baited with plain old squid and had twenty stone of nice codling biggest around fifteen pounds fish is there and plenty of it.

Saw big cod and malc out there.

hi mate

was that you that come along side malc in the orkney?? with some bonny cod on board?

i crew for malc on sea spray, so hopefully see you out there again soon

we struggled for a few, but the tides seemed really odd?

one minute there was nowt, then it came barreling through, only to die 2 1/2 hrs before it was due to.

we tried all manner of baits, but none seemed to fish that well.

must be the scent trail of 400 hooks going in at the same time that makes the difference.

anyway, hopefully off this weekend to try something different.

cheers

steve

Thanks Steve, i'm only filling in, so i don't have any say, however i'm hoping for a mixed trip, like i had the last time i was there. Bit of every thing including turbot, brill, bass, tope, cod, pollack on the wrecks on the way out and back.It was a good week. Can't wait for the next.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

That was me Krysb we found fish to be off a bit at back of ground edge there was a few fish on the inner hard ground but only small codling and strap ling.all good fish came out of broken ground at back of ground edge it would be worth having a go this weekend with tides easing, fish had a lot of velvet crab and still loads of pipe fish inside them.i picked a nice eight kilo halibut up in same place a week ago that was nice to see, that would have been a good scrap on a 12 lb maximus .

will maybe see you this weekend if you get down this way tight lines.

We had a good few on rod and line while waiting for long lines to fish it was good fun.

it should be a good weekend with smaller tides krysb so get at em nice bit of mussel and squid cant fail :)

if the weather hold up, might have a poke round a few bits of scrap over slack, if that fails going to have a go couple of miles off on the rough.

might see you out there

cheers
