fishing in west lothian

hi does anyone here fish any of the quarries/ponds in west lothian as not really into day ticket venues myself

east calder quarry and humbie quarry mainly pike and perch just now

been looking at humbie and east calder quarry . mostly pike or perch dunno if these two quarries have pike in them or what species?

the quarry at east calder was poisoned about 10 years ago don't know if it has been re stocked since then

 

humbie is now a trout fishery,

 

 

there is an old quarry near winch burgh it holds perch roach and some pike DO NOT park at the gateway or inside the gate

or the quarry owners will remove your car using a rough terrain fork lift or dozer

 

Directions coming from winchburgh towards threemile town ,about 1 mile past the jet petrol station there a road to the right signed for hopeton house drive down about 2 miles , stop when you get to the bridge over the canal,

gate on left of road walk through gate follow tow path of canal you will come to an old bridge over canal dont cross over just keep walking about half a mile and your there..
