In response to fivebellies and others I have put into print some accounts of early fishing trips and other escapades from the 1940s and 50s.

It won't tell you how to fish - in fact some incidents may suggest to you how NOT to fish! Just my take on learning to fish, experiencing setbacks and frustrations, mixed with some glorious episodes of success. .
