I'll be voting to leave unless something huge changes.   there is nothing to stop us from trading with other EU countries while keeping our independence. in fact we could well be better off as we'll be able to negotiate our own trade deals with emerging countries like china rather than be part of a EU wide deal that is always going to favour the biggest economy in europe not us!   In the 70's common market vote my parents voted to join a trading alliance,  not to commit us to becoming part of a European super-state.

And yes immigration is also a huge part of my thinking,  Britain is full. we don't have enough jobs or housing for the people already living here. it's madness to allow unrestricted immigration from anywhere.

Perhaps the more prescient question given the results of this poll and those cited by ayjay is "Does anyone believe that they will be given a free and fair vote?"

The Irish where given the chance of a free vote, twice. They got the answer correct the second time around.

So at present we have a news report suggesting the end is nigh.

and in the real world we have happy smiling faces suggesting all's well.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because  they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Not quite what I meant. There are lots of ways to win an election/referendum and not all involve getting more votes than the opposition.
Electronic and postal voting for instance are almost purpose built for electoral shenanigans.

All,

If I were Britain I'd toss the baby with the bath water.  You spend as much time on "sovereignty" as we spend on gun control.

I've kept marginally informed on your topic.  Exactly what is British Sovereignty? (or gun control with 300 million privately owned guns)

Sovereignty is much the same as the unelected Brussels mafia want. it's called control. Why does the u k need a bunch of foreign gravy train socialists to rule over them at great cost? The biggest argument the u k prime minister has with the e u at the mo, is who controls the u k benefit payments, looks like the e u does.

So explain why France has a much more generous benefits system than do we?

that's not the question. You could easily add that they have enjoyed a permanent farming subsidy, yet the u k has given back the rebate for imbalance, more fish quota from the channel 70% cod quota and for a none quota species, 9 times more bass take than the u k, they have landed more year on year creating an alleged stock falling off a cliff. Yet the u k charter fishing fleet are the ones in the firing line. etc etc. The question really is why should the u k be part of this continued imbalance and to what benefit to the u k.

the French economy and unemployment don't look too special at the mo does it.

The u k appears to be, being held back by the e u state.

Did you read Bernhard Inghams comments yesterday,

quote: “Why should the U.K. throw another £12 billion a year down these mafia and assorted criminal drains?” Ingham wrote this week in the Yorkshire Post. “Why we should ever want to be a member of it at all when the institution is corrupt and so riddled with fraud that the auditors have felt unable to sign off its accounts for nigh on 20 years.”

And if the French social is soo good why are there 3000 odd economic mainly north African migrants camped out trying any method fair or mostly foul to get into the u k?

Has schengan failed to allow these through Europe in any event. If any of them wish to claim asylum they could have done it in the first country outside of their war zone. Bet 99% of these won't have a passport and or don't profess to have ever owned one. I also note the e u wish to get rid of the Dublin agreement. To what purpose I have to ask, not for improvement, betterment surly. To encourage more economic migrants?
