The story of Corbyn’s win is months old

Mr Corbyn accepted the prize in person in Geneva on Friday, but the news that he had won it was first announced via a press release in September.

The IPB said at the time that Mr Corbyn was due to receive the award at a ceremony in Barcelona in November, but they told FactCheck they changed the handover to a time and place more convenient for the Labour leader to attend.

The IPB issued a press release about Mr Corbyn’s win, but we can’t find any evidence that the Labour leader publicised it himself at the time.

A search of Labour press releases and Mr Corbyn’s Twitter feed for any mention of the prize comes up blank.

And as far as we can tell from Google, none of the websites reporting the silence of the mainstream media now – skwawkbox, rt.com and presstv.com – covered the news that Mr Corbyn had been given the award back in September.

Only saw last night John but there we go obviously of little importance but hey if Mrs May had won it would it have made front page thats to be seen now something much more important will Mrs May resign after her defeat now some Tory mps have rebelled a taste for blood will spread amount those that are to frightened to fart that might now change .

 

Now there is talk of public flogging even hanging for those Tory rebels but they have point a very serious one .

Now then barry have I got news for you now get yourself down to the newsagents today and buy yourself a fishing news open it up and turn to page 2 big headline BREXIT POSES SEVERE THREAT TO UK FISHING COMMUNITIES now talk about turkeys voting for Christmas brexit and its reality this paper is the commercial fishermens bible .mbiw all the bulkshit peddled about fishermen better off with brexit now looks totally flawed and it wont just be fishing either . TAT makes the news in the express, here we have them using crocodile tears for anglers re the bass ban. THEY BLOODY WELL CAUSED IT. Here we have fat guts Mitchel masquerading as an angler or even worse an angler's management guro. I know he fished for bass with Austin goldsmith once for inshore bass infants but perlease.
