So just to be clear, there were some minor changes to DSA which mainly affected students with learning difficulties going to university. The universities are already required to make "reasonable adjustments". Many of these students will already be receiving additional support through the DLA or PIP schemes. In many cases, someone will be receiving carers allowance to look after them, And now they want more money through DSA's. Just how many times do you think taxpayers should pay these people for the same needs?

Personally, I'm more inclined to ask what the hell are people with "learning difficulties" doing in a university?

Yes, People with "Learning difficulties" have no place in publicly funded tertiary education.

Who says so !!

Her is a snippet from the Equality and human rights commission on the disabled since 2010 the tories persecuted. The disabled .

Cruel Tory welfare cuts have hammered the disabled harder than almost any other group, the human rights watchdog declared today.

The Equality and Human Rights Commission issued the damning verdict in a major 280-page report on fairness in Britain.

The report says "disabled people are among those worst affected by welfare reforms since 2010."

47% of bedroom tax victims had a disability, and welfare reforms contributed to a rise in homelessness, the report says.

Caring tories my arse ?

Who says so

I do....

And I will compound my heresy by saying that pople with no arms have no business on surgeon training programs, people with progeria make poor hod carriers and that epileptics have no business learning how to throw grenades.

Nobody is ever going to convince me that someone who is illiterate has any place in a university unless they are employed as a draft excluder or paperweight.
