WHO WAS IT?

Yesterday morning I was walking my dog on its usual walk, I go past the Cat fish conservation lake in Kings Coughton, No one has fished it over the winter so I was surprised to see two Anglers on the Water yesterday Morning, Parked next to the lake by the hedge ,A Red 4 wheel drive with the spare wheel on the back this was covered by a wheel cover proudly saying "Cat fish conservation Club" also was a West Brom car flag and England Car flag in the rear window.

I though good luck to them and walked on.

This Morning I was walking the dog and low and behold in the hedge were the car was parked was 3 beer cans and the plastic connector.

This is a little bit of pristine Warwickshire country side, only used by Anglers and dog walkers,

I was amazed that any one that is in a club that preachers conservation would be so small minded as to dump there litter.

After crawling under the hedge I took the litter home as I know all the dog walkers and they would all know it was the Anglers who left it, and they all know I’m a keen angler, I was embarrassed for my sport.

If it was you and you log on this forum, or you know who this is please tell them do not dump your litter, take it Home

It is sometimes difficult not to jump to conclusions, but if it was the anglers you saw the day before then at least they took one can home with them. :D

Fishing seems to be my favorite form of loafing.

"Even a bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work."

I know the joy of fishes in the river through my own joy, as I go walking along the same river.

What do you think if the float does not dip, try again I think.

Sorry to hear of it Blue. Picking up other peoples litter is something we should all do (they don't). Glad you took the incentive. I know of loads of people that would have walked right past and complained about it. I bring back loads and only a small percentage would I put down to angling.

Picking up other peoples rubbish is commendable, however in doing so what if you happend to get stuck with a sharp someone has thrown away, i have.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Hadn't thought of that to be honest. But then again what fun would it be without the risk? :) I figure I can pick and choose what I pick up though. Whats the slogan?? Every little elps? I sometimes use their carrier bags I find.

OI OI,

The fishing club i'm in dont allow tin's or can's of any sort on ANY of there water's, if caught with so much as a sweetcorn tin by your peg your suspended strait away, i think it's a good idea beacause think about it if you fill your bait boxes at home or in the back of your car there is no need to have tin's on your peg & if there is rubbish when you arrive it's automaticaly yours, work's for our club.

P.S. That goes for tab end's as well.
