I clicked onto an ad for spydestroy on this page and opened their offer of a free scan. My avast anti-virus immediately showed a trojan horse infection.

Can someone who knows about these things check it out?

I've come to learn that nothing is 'FREE' in this day and age and always steer clear of such crap.

 

At least you know that your anti-virus software is running fine.

they sometimes throw something "out on your PC" so they can look the hero in finding it. Good thing your anti-virus caught it.... Could have been a bad link right from the beginning with the intention of infecting your PC.

If it's one of the Clickbank ads on here, I'll see if I can get it removed. It'll just be an underhand way of making you buy a product, which is bang out of order!
