Good news and bad news

Well first the bad news, I have still to christen my new pin Good news I have finally broken my 2lb barrier and caught a cracking 2lb 6oz perch today That was not a bad weight for the stretch of the Loddon I was fishing.

 

That and 2 minnows was my total of a few hours fishing today. One of my minnows was full of spawn by the looks of it. Still nice to get out again, making the most of the last week, have 3 days off at the end of next week.

At least you were able to go fishing today the Upper Ribble where I fish was bank high and running too fast and coloured to fish still I found a nice pub for lunch

i heard the weather forecast for today (sunday) was supposed to be filled with some of the worst weather we have had, so i cancelled my fishing plans and now i am sat here this morning under a clear sky and wishing i had remembered they never get it right and not swapped the plans of fishing to be dragged around tesco with my girlfriend
