Went in to get a pair of Chest Waders yesterday afternoon - sold out as were the bags.

 

I was tempted by one of the light telescopic spinning rods though but decided I could live without it.

What are the bite alarms for 8.99 like? Has anyone tried them? I thought you couldn't really go wrong with a bite alarm for that price, and i've never fished with one before so im looking forward to trying it out (if theres any left in stock that i can get my hands on)

Dunno how true it is but I heard the kit works very well but does not have a standard ie 3/8 bsf thread instead it is metric. You would have to take along some small bit of kit to try it in. I bought a box of the night lights which are brilliant when I go camping at the race track and put one at the end of each guy rope! Stops the other drunks tripping and helps me find my own tent

No, that's a 'carp angler gag' - for when one corners you and starts banging on about whether ultraplex is better than megaplex, or how he's fishing at 150 yards on a clean spot of gravel 2ft across, or goes into agonising detail about his take on the chod rig, and you just have to shut him up
