you were lucky to get away camping were usually first in at folkestone but the volvo were going to tow the trailer tent with isnt taxed yet so hopefully late next month ,could have taken the frame tent on the golf but its rough sleeping compared to the TT

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

Can anyone recommend a reliable, accurate and easy to use set?

I find the Waymaster ones OK. I have some that go up to 12lbs (6lb dial, but they go round twice). They seem to develop a 'zero error' after a while, though that may be because of abuse by me testing line strength etc - no scales like it when the line breaks and they get a big jerk! - but it doesn't matter as I weigh the fish in the landing net, then deduct the weight of the net - so the zero error is cancelled out. From memory they are about £15, don't take up much room in the bag, and you just hook them onto the net and hold it up. I've tested mine on bags of sugar etc and they seem to be accurate - I'd trust them to the nearest ounce.
