Yank programmes where awesome is used a lot especially American chopper also the phrase credit crunch

 

Talking of American programmes and the language, has anyone seen this? :blink:

I've decided to start a thread of words and phrases that I'm sick to the back teeth of hearing. Usually, these terms are used to justify additional controls and taxes on the UK population. Unfortunately, we seem to bending over and accepting them.

The most rich; the most angry; the most nice etc. What the hell is wrong with richest, angriest or nicest? More cheap is another - how can you have more cheap? And as I heard once on TV, "much more less expensive!" Oh another one from a TV reporter talking of a house fire. "The damage is very, very maximum".
