A couple of hours treadng the bank today....

I had a couple of hours roving the river today, although it was cold it was the best day "weatherwise" for ages, great to be out on the bank in the sun for a change! I had to walk several miles and drop into lots of swims to get any joy but it was nice being surrounded by hundreds of various species of wildfoul, and even a barn owl which was hunting up and down the river banks and then returning to the barn when it dropped onto a rodent...must have had a clutch on the go. I put a few hares up on the banks as I walked them and there where a couple of them sparring/boxing in one field...funny how they loose their fear of predators as much when their on the hunt for sexy times smile.gif.
Anyhow, I did catch a few chub, nothing of any size but they did pull back for their size...

Have you moved to the Bahama's? Its been snowing here today and still is. :cold:

Thank's Brian :). It was really cold but the sun was out and if you got down the bank and out of the wind it felt ok....all the walking kept me warm also.

Nice one Ian. I have kept my head down this winter, but will be out and about when its a bit warmer and I can walk on this twisted knee a bit better. The test of "a bit better" is when I can get up and down stairs one at a time - at present it is half a step at a time at the cost of a bit of pain. Have had this before, and it got better within days, but taking longer this time.

Thank's Dave, fingers crossed for you to get better quickly.
