Spring fishing has arrived to the Edgewater Backcountry and Mosquito Lagoon, water temperatures have been ranging from 68’ to 63’ the last few weeks, fun migrating Jack Crevalle, Bluefish, and Ladyfish have arrived back in the area after they spent the winter further south. Fast light tackle action on these schooling inshore game fish. At times surface action with bait fish and shrimp being eaten in white water attacks, casting lures or bait in with immediate hook ups at times, Mack caught the largest Jack of the morning on trip with lots of jack attacks..........................

Repeat client Jim from New Jersey always likes to hunt the flats for Redfish, our morning trip was a success with 4 Reds up to 28”, including sight fishing hook ups with a couple wake pushing fish on a shallow flat......................

Adrian from Orlando brought his friend Eric who was visiting from Texas wanting to catch a Redfish in Mosquito Lagoon, we were happy to land 5 Reds up to 30” which Eric caught...................
