I think I'll be packing my hot water bottle :)

Not me, I will put my trust in a hip flask of Highland Park , vacuum flasks of hot coffee, and a Kelly kettle as back-up. Central heating !

It is damned cold and a northerly wind blowing this morning, but there was a female Holly Blue sitting on a bush near the back door, so at least some seasonal creatures are up and about. Don't forget to tell the perch, Steve.

First cuckoos yesterday, but only the odd willow has any leaves and the blackthorn are still in flower.

Hot water, blankets and Horlicks aside would anyone be kind enough to lend me a butt rest? Seem to have misplaced one and don't want people thinking I'm fishing the Thames in flood!
