Windows 10

Recommended Posts

I found the fresh install i did for the lady in my thread faultless and because her pc already had had win10 on it (an auto update from win7) it didnt ask for verification once i dodged the initial 2 requests for the codes ,

I opted out of 90% in the options but will go back once the anniversary update is installed ,that will be the clincher spy wise i think

I still cannot get the notion of "free" and microsoft ,hopefully in a years time like office its not pay monthly for the damned OS ,luckily my broadband is to slow to use the cloud having all your photos and docs used as leverage to keep on using it is not going to happen to me

My sister eventually bought a win10 machine ,not because her XP one wasnt working but her browser didnt support some sites she needed to use and ofcourse future printers etc wont have xp drivers so inevitable in the long run ,its not in the interests of companies to make drivers for old machines as i sadly found out with my HP A3 printer it went in the bin overnigbt after an upgrade ,the windows drivers only let you do basic printing not the high quality stuff the printer was capeable of

was reading earlier today about some new microshaft antics on win 10. forcfully installing "recommended" software, such as candy crush (A game I think ?) and no disabling of adverts in software.

they really are turning in to a bunch of cretins, scratch that, they are a bunch of cretins.
