Hi and welcome to Anglers' Net. I won't be of any direct help since I'm some 6500 Km to your west but I wanted to tell you we are glad to have you aboard.

Where are the best bass fishing venues in Kent for lure/spinning. Any help would be appreciated :)

don't bother the bass fishery has been closed down helped by the so called angling org the angling trust aka TAT. you can land one with the possibility of sending some back dead.

According to m salter, TAT guro, the stock is about to fall off a cliff, leave them alone.

Went wrecking two weeks ago top end of the channel and the wrecks are stuffed with bass all sizes and small Pollack, after three drifts and loads of bass released some bleeding from the gills we gave up and went fishing the banks for plaice and turbot without any pointless restrictions. These restrictions have been created by m salter and the ceo of TAT who rushed off to parliament including lies and exaggeration, linking u k landings with the French landings within their briefing papers and this is the result.

My skipper couldn't believe that I released bass of 700 mm tis true. The ranges of bass where from below mls upto 700 poor recruitment, that leaves the likes of BASS spouting bullshine and lies.. The bass fishery doesn't really kick in until late summer off Portland and the isle of wight, if these regs are not lifted I fear for the industry. Caused by idiotic so called TAT experts.

killed some plaice and turbot though.

They distance themselves from the issue and now claim they are helping the anglers and charter boats by getting these regs relaxed, when without one paid up sea angling rep on their books they caused it.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Well done Barry. I imagine your reply has driven the original poster to elsewhere. It certainly would have had that effect on me as a new poster to an angling web site.

He simply wanted to know where to toss a lure to catch a bass he could enjoy catching and maybe eat.
