I have watched these little fellas from conception to leaving the nest. we now have somewhere around 20-30 of them up at the fishery so finally took the camera up before they head overseas :D

we had some nesting up above the door that would near take yer face off if you were standing near it, often they would come in the cabin and fly around the log burer a few times maybe check out the kitchen then straight back out. what a delight :)

 

word of warning though dont poke an abandoned nest after they have left it. MITES ARGH! ffs!

 

all the pics are great but heres my favourite!!! watching one preen itself just as I took the photo one comes in overhead. Perfect!

We have lots of them flying over us Andy, its great t hear them chirping away in the phone wires and telegraph poles.
